Rototilt takes direct route

A Swedish manufacturer has parted company with its Scottish dealer…and it’s all part of the plan.

Inverness firm Highland Hammer Hire (HHH) has handed over responsibility for Rototilt sales and warranty repairs to Rototilt Ltd, the manufacturer’s subsidiary. And as Callum Mackintosh of HHH (pictured) explained: “This has always been the long-term strategy for Rototilt in the UK and Ireland, replicating how it trades direct around the world.

“Our record for sales and marketing of Rototilt in Scotland is so successful that we have increased the market share to the point that it is now sustainable for Rototilt Ltd to supply direct.”

He went on: “We have been very successful over the last few years supplying and providing service support to customers all over Scotland and beyond who have purchased Rototilt products. We have also successfully carried out some of the most technically demanding installations on a variety of specialist machines.”

Rototilt Ltd’s country manager Malcolm Long praised the dealer’s efforts over the past two years and said: “We see huge potential in Scotland and we’re really looking forward to being directly responsible for the future growth of Rototilt tiltrotators and attachments…”

Direct contact details for customers would be released soon, he said.
