No ScotPlant until 2021

Scotland’s construction equipment exhibition has been put back until next year.

Originally scheduled for April, the ScotPlant event was then pencilled in for September but the organisers have now decided to delay until next year because of continuing uncertainty over Covid-19 restrictions.

The show’s sales manager, Mark Griston, said the decision had been taken “with extreme reluctance”. He added: “However, with less than three months to go, we couldn’t guarantee that the event would be allowed to go ahead, or in what form.

“We took the view that there are simply too many variables at this stage to carry on with preparations for an event in September.”

New dates are April 23-24 at the usual venue, The Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston.
