A Scots demolition contractor has bought its first JCB excavators in 20 years.
Chamic Industrial Services has taken delivery from dealer Scot JCB of 150X and 220X machines, both now working on industrial dismantling and city centre regeneration jobs. They were supplied in demolition specification including cab frames and guards and full machine protection. They also feature heavy-duty dippers and side buffers.
Demolition manager Mike Hunter said: “We chose to come back to JCB because of the reliability and the quality of the latest X Series models. The machines are performing very well, the operators are very happy and the fuel consumption is proving excellent.”
Chamic has bases in Edinburgh and Glasgow and operates across Scotland, Ireland and the North of England.
