Green light for Hillhead

The organisers of Hillhead have restarted preparations after trade shows got the green light to resume in the UK from next month.

The team responsible for next June’s exhibition has started planning the show to meet the ‘All Secure Standard’, a programme of government-approved measures for best practice during Covid-19. Organisation will be based around social distancing, hygiene, protection and detection.

Show director Richard Bradbury explains: “Whilst it is likely that some of these measures will be relaxed by June 2021, Hillhead has taken the decision to plan for them at the earliest opportunity, ensuring visitors and exhibitors will be supported in the most effective manner.”

New exhibitors signed up during the lockdown include LiuGong Direct UK and Barford. The event will be held June 22–24 at Hillhead Quarry in Derbyshire.
