Dates have been confirmed for the auction of the fleet operated by Hawk Plant which went into administration last month.
Euro Auctions will hold the sale on March 14 and 15 at Hawk’s main site in Prees Green, Shropshire, on the instructions of administrators EY.
The first day will focus on tractors, telehandlers and light plant with the heavy kit going under the hammer the following day. Equipment is generally one to three years old with full maintenance and service histories.
The two-day event will follow Euro Auctions’ biggest-ever sale at its Leeds site from January 30-February 1 when more than 5,000 lots were sold for £42m. They included 750 excavators of all sizes – said to be the world’s largest sale of diggers – 320 articulated trucks and dumpers, 270 telehandlers, 150 roller, and 140 tractors.
